Purified human Serum Amyloid A

AHP1770 recognizes human Amyloid A, aslo known as Serum Amyloid A (SAA), a protein expressed by the liver and secreted into plasma.

The formation of extra-cellular deposits of SAA leads to impaired tissue structure and function. Research has also indicated that elevated levels of SAA in the serum may be associated with lung cancer.

This reagent is available in bulk quantities and may be made available in other formats. Please enquire for further details.

Store at +4^oC or at -20^oC if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
